(Ashoora) 42 : 25
وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
And He is the One who accepts the repentance of His servants, and He pardons the evil deeds, and he knows what you are doing.
It is told in verse 33: 73 that the Trust Adhikr is revealed in order to punish the hypocritical men and women as well as the Mushrik men and women, and to accept the repentance of believing men and women. See explanation 10: 61; 25: 70, and 40: 60.
